Le Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS) offers three-year postdoctoral fellowships in its associated groups, starting fall 2009. The net salary will be about 2000 euros/month. Please refer to the end of this announcement for the exact rules governing these fellowships.
The Fundamental Interactions group at the Universit? de Li?ge would welcome the opportunity to sponsor and host individuals interested in pursuing postdoctoral research in astroparticle physics, with a special emphasis on the astrophysical consequences of axions and ALPs, and on the cosmological consequences of multi-Higgs models.
At present, our group consists of 5 permanent members (M. Bawin, J.R. Cudell, J. Cugnon, R. Sartor and I. Stancu), 1 long-term researcher (I.P. Ivanov), 3 postdocs (P. Ciarcelluti, F. Sandin, and D. Mancusi), and 5 graduate students. The group keeps close ties with some of the staff at Ecole polytechnique, Grenoble, Bochum, Graz, Dubna, Kiev, Torino, Warsaw and Heidelberg, and participates in a research network which includes all particle physics groups in Belgium.
