The XVII scientific conference of Association of Young Scientists and Specialists (AYSS) is going to be held from 08 to 12 April 2013. The conference is devoted to the centenary of outstanding Soviet physicist, a corresponding member of USSR Academy of Science, Venedict Dzelepov. From 1956 to 1989 he was the head of the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems of Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, which later was named after him. Dzelepov’s research interests lay in the field of nuclear physics, elementary particle physics, and in accelerator techniques.
The conference is devoted to the fundamental and applied researches that are held in the JINR. Students, PhD students, young scientists and specialists from the JINR and other Russian and foreign scientific centers participate in the conference. Within the framework of the conference leading scientists will give lectures on researches in the applied studies. The best scientific work in the applied field of physics will be awarded.
Conference languages are English and Russian. Conference Proceedings will be published in a book. Selected articles recommended by the tender committee will be submitted for publication in refereed journals.
Students, graduate students, young scientists and specialists are invited to give presentations in parallel sections. The registration is open until March 1, 2013 on the conference web-site. After registration you will get a confirmation from the organizing committee.Topics

Registration fee for JINR employee is 750 RUB (approximately 20 EUR).
Registration fee for others is 1250 RUB (approximately 30 EUR).
Registration fee covers organizing expenses, coffee breaks and social program.

The competition for JINR young scientists and specialists awards well be held on the conference. Additionally, the prize for the best applied physics work will be presented.Proceedings
Conference proceedings will be published in a Book of Proceedings. The electronic version will be available on the conference web-site. The authors, who would like to publish their reports, should prepare an electronic version of their contribution using the following templates. The maximum number of pages is 4.
