The graduate students at the Universities of Fribourg, Neuchâtel and Geneva invite submissions from graduate students of papers to be presented at the first Lake Geneva Graduate Conference, which will be held at the University of Geneva on Friday, May 27th, 2016. Every effort will be made to cover travel costs in part if not in full, including for selected graduate students traveling from outside Europe. Meals and accommodation will be provided. Keynote speakers: Prof. Karen Bennett (Cornell) & Prof. Christian Wüthrich (Geneva) Topic: Explanation, broadly conceived. Submission guidelines: *All papers should be of a maximum of 10 pages (single-spaced). They should correspond to presentations of 30 to 40 minutes, to be followed by 20 minutes of discussion. *Only PDF files will be accepted. *Submissions must be prepared for blind-review. *Please include a separate PDF file as a cover page stating your name, a reminder of the title of your submission, your current academic institution(s) and your academic email address.
