Mind – Media – Narrative. Exploring the Nexus of Transmedial and Cognitive Narratologies is an international conference organized by the Warsaw Transmedial Narratology Research Group, hosted by the University of Warsaw (Poland), from June 20 to June 22, 2016. It focuses on transmedial and cognitive narratology, narrative affordances and limitations of different modalities as well as psychological and cognitive approaches to narrative. The conference is a part of a grant project entitled „Narrative as a transmedial construct – semiotic and cognitive contexts”. It brings together Polish, Japanese and Swedish scholars from fields such as media studies, literature, art history, and beyond, whose work relates to various aspects of narrative and narrative potential of different media.
