About the Conference:

The objective of the National Conference on Mathematics and its Applications (NCMA-2016) is to bring together researchers in the field of Mathematics to interact and exchange their new ideas in the different areas of Mathematics and discuss various applications in the modern world. The conference will be an ideal platform for researchers and academicians from different parts of the country to share their research ideas and present their recent results towards the development and applications of Mathematics.

About the Institutions:

Cotton College State University was created via an Act of the Government of Assam, with Cotton College as a constituent college of this new university in 2011. The vision of this new university is to be a world-class one, excelling in both teaching and research, developing knowledge and skills with an emphasis on this part of India, providing broad-based education to students to take on the challenges of tomorrow via modern curricula, learning and assessment methods, upholding the highest ethical standards, and providing a clean, efficient and transparent administration.

Cotton College, the oldest and pioneer institution of higher education in the North-Eastern region of India, was established on 27th May 1901. Having contributed significantly to the academic and cultural life of the region, the institution has not only withstood the test of time but has also carved a niche for itself in the sphere of higher education in the country. Presently the college has twenty five departments in science and arts streams with about three thousand students from higher secondary to undergraduate level. The department of Mathematics started functioning in the year of establishment of the college.

Call for Papers:

Authors are invited to present their research work (not presented earlier in any other conference or publication) in the conference. The mode of the presentation will be power-point oral presentations. Authors wishing to present papers are requested to register online at and send the extended abstracts (within 700 words) in both word and pdf format to Extended abstracts should be typed in Times New Roman with normal font size 12 pt. and title should be in bold with font size 14 pt. The format of the extended abstract should be as given below:
