Human Resource Management (HRM) is expected to play the role of a strategic business partner by dealing with vital issues of managing the talent pipeline to align it with business processes, systems, structures, and policies, to leverage competitiveness and sustainability. The emphasis today is manage HR functions and policies in a manner such that organizations can be provided with a unique pool of people who can continuously take the organization to new levels of growth and sustainability.
