It is with great excitement that we introduce “Diversity 3.0“. After our successful “Diversity in Tech Symposium” in 2016 at the Purdue Technology Center in Indianapolis, the Society for Diversity decided it was time to host an entire conference around the theme “Innovations, Strategies & Skills for Intentional Outcomes“.
The purpose of the “Diversity 3.0” conference is to explore next generation practices that advance traditional equity, diversity and inclusion work. Conference attendees will be able to identify techniques that are ineffective or outdated, and adjust their work to adapt data-driven and forward-thinking approaches to fostering equity, diversity and inclusion. The conference will feature speakers from around the world, as well as present global practices that work.
Diversity 3.0 will present an interactive learning experience featuring:
Keynote and workshop sessions for beginning, intermediate and advanced learners
Science & Technology demonstrations that provide Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) solutions
A Focus Group and research report on “Helping Women Self-Manage Their Career Progression in the Multigenerational Workplace” in partnership with Principal Investigator, Candace Steele Flippin, DM, MBA, APR
A riveting and interactive courtroom dramatization entitled, “Defamation“, where the audience is the jury–thus allowing for civil and productive conversations about issues of race, gender, religion and class
An Awards Dinner recognizing organizations and leaders with advanced Equity, Diversity & Inclusion practices
Diversity certification tracks for Certified Diversity Professional (CDP)™ and Certified Diversity Executive (CDE)™ candidates
