This International Conference has been around for a while – to be exact: in 2018 , from the 17-22th of April, we will host the XVth edition. But what is so special about our Conference? Every year the students are gathering to present their work and test their abilities to communicate their science. Furthermore, we inspire students with our lecture series and cutting edge Keynote Speakers, who will hold presentations about their research projects. We have prepared for you also some presentations about the importance of ethics in the research field, structure and design of reports and main interests of our domain employers.

The conference is structured into 3 main sections: Poster, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, each of these sections being divided (starting this year) in undergraduate and master groups. The participants can present their work as posters or as oral presentations. For guidelines, please see Guidelines for Presentations and Guidelines for Posters. The official language of the event is English, consequently, all presentations will be held in English.

The scientific committee and the jury comprises of distinguished professors from the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. They are going to evaluate the participants’ research papers by taking into consideration their scientific relevance, originality and the knowledge level on the subject matter of the participants. After this evaluation, they are going to award prizes for each section.

The programme of the event promises to blend the academic, social and cultural experiences and offers the participants a great experience. Also, young chemists will have the opportunity to visit Cluj-Napoca, the Heart of Transylvania, a city well known as a centre for artistic and cultural events, bringing a large number of foreigners in every year.
