The Canadian Association for Earthquake Engineering (CAEE) is proud to announce the 12th Canadian Conference on Earthquake Engineering that will be held in Quebec City, June 17‑20, 2019. This is the most important international conference on seismic engineering in Canada and brings together researchers, structural engineers, geotechnical engineers, architects, seismologists and regulatory bodies every four years. The previous conferences took place in Vancouver (1971), Hamilton (1975), Montreal (1979), Vancouver (1983), Ottawa (1987), Toronto (1991), Montreal (1995), Vancouver (1999), Ottawa (2007), Toronto (2010), and in Victoria (2015). Topics include Seismic hazard, Seismology, Codes and standards, Geotechnical issues, Structural behaviour and design, Seismic rehabilitation, Societal impacts, Risk Management, Dam safety, Machine learning applications and Monitoring. The conference will be held at the Château Frontenac Fairmont Hotel, the premier hotel in Quebec City, right in the centre of the historical old town.
