The AXES research group at the University of Antwerp ( has an open position for a postdoctoral researcher to strengthen our research in the field of analytical chemistry on historic mixed-media objects.

Postdoc position in analytical chemistry in the field of cultural heritage (f/m)


  • You perform chemical analyses on historic mixed-media objects.
  • You assist PhD students in analytical chemistry.


  • Applicants are expected to hold a PhD іn chemistry, physics or art sciences.
  • You can submit outstanding academic results.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English аrе key assets.
