This is a networking event to bring together those working in history and philosophy of science in the region that is broadly defined in terms of the tectonic structure of the Cascadia region (or, driving distance to Vancouver). Participants may register to attend or to have an abstract considered for presentation.
Partial travel support is available to facilitate participation for scholars in the Greater Cascadia region.
- Opening Keynote speaker: Hasok Chang
- Late morning sessions: up to three parallel sessions, organized by topic
- Early afternoon sessions: up to three parallel sessions, organized by topic
- Closing speaker: John Dupre
- Workshop dinner downtown
There will be supplementary events and informal networking opportunities before and after the workshop, including a session with experts on citizen science, public awareness, and research, at the Vancouver Aquarium.
