This interdisciplinary workshop will bring together researchers from Philosophy, Linguistics, and Comparative and Developmental Psychology to present recent work on the pragmatics of communication (linguistic, prelinguistic, and nonlinguistic) and conversation.
We invite abstracts of short papers (suitable for 25-30-min presentation) by junior researchers (including graduate students, postdocs and untenured junior faculty).
Abstracts (500-1,000 words, excluding references) should be ready for blind review and include the title of the paper; they should make clear both the topic and the main arguments of the paper. The paper should be suited for a 30-minute presentation, which will be followed by a 15-minute discussion. Please send a separate document the title of the paper, author's name, affiliation (if any), and contact information.
