The Institute of Fiscal law is looking for an

University Assistant with doctorate

(40 hours a week; Substitute worker; position to be filled as of June 3rd 2019 ; Substitute worker)

Your duties

  • Independent research and publishing activities on an international level
  • Preparation, participation in and critical examination of the research projects of the institute
  • Teaching in the field of Fiscal Law
  • Supervision of students
  • Participation in the institute’s administration and the university self-administration

Your profile

  • Completed doctoral studies of Law with a focus of Fiscal Law with excellent results
  • Published dissertation or in publication
  • Excellent knowledge in Austrian, European and International Tax Law as well as in Financial Constitutional Law or the ability and willingness to become acquainted with these fields
  • Very good knowledge in Constitutional and General Administrative Law or the ability and willingness to become acquainted with these fields
  • An adequate number of publications in relation to the age and the academic career of the applicant
  • Lecturing experience
  • Participation in relevant activities on a national and international level
  • Excellent English skills (knowledge of French advantageous)
  • Competence in assessing student’s performances
  • Didactic competence in holding lectures
  • Personal initiative
  • Ability to work in a team

Classification

Salary scheme of the Universitäten-KV (University Collective Agreement): B1

Minimum salary

The minimum salary as stated in the collective agreement and according to the classification scheme is EUR 3803.90 gross/month. This minimum salary may be higher due to previous employment periods eligible for inclusion and other earnings and remunerations.
