Summary

A 24-month post-doctoral position is available at the Laboratory of Imunoparasitology, led by Prof. Dr. João Santana Silva and located in the Biochemistry and Immunology Department of the University of São Paulo’s Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP), Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. Successfully applicants can be funded for up to 3 years for São Paulo Research Foundation – FAPESP. 

Applicants must be exceptionally motivated, innovative, should be able to work independently and with a collaborative team setting. The ideal candidate must have a PhD degree and background in the fields of Immunology, Cell Biology or Biochemistry. Prior experience in techniques such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Immunoparasitology is necessary. Experience in DNA editing using CRISPR will be considered.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
