The Department of Accounting and Finance (A&F) is located within the state-ofthe art £35 million Hugh Aston Building in the middle of DMU’s campus.  The post of Head of Department is an opportunity for an outstanding candidate to provide leadership across a range of internationally renowned, accredited research and teaching provisions.

 

Role

Our success means that the Department of A&F continues to grow and we are investing in posts at all levels. As a result DMU is now seeking to appoint an outstanding academic to lead the Department. You will have a particular focus on supporting the teaching and learning; research output; and commercial income generation of the department, reinforcing a successful working environment and setting the strategic direction to ensure the success of your colleagues in the department. You will have a track record of academic leadership and in line managing large teams and a strong academic track record within the field of Accounting and/or Finance.
