The Lavender Languages and Linguistics conference is dedicated to language and sexuality research and has run annually since 1993. Lavender Languages 27 will retain its inclusive, supportive atmosphere for students and scholars with an interest in language and sexuality (broadly defined). 

Participation by established scholars, early career scholars, graduate and undergraduate students (for students see the email submission for the “works-in-progress” session below) as well as activists and community leaders working on language issues of import to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, poly, sexually fluid, asexual and other affinity communities will continue have an active presence in all conference activities—including presenting papers and coordinating panels and workshops.
