  • Analysis of microbial stoichiometric relationships in agricultural long-term experiments
  • Determination of microbial nutrient limitations and stoichiometric thresholds
  • Analysis of changes in nutrient pools and fluxes in soils with different inputs of organic matter
  • Writing reports and publications


  • PhD in Soil Biology, Soil Sciences, Plant Sciences or a rela- ted field
  • Affinity for plant-soil interactions and nutrient cycles
  • Knowledge of nutrient stoichiometry and practical experience in chloroform fumigation extraction of microbial biomass, phospholipid fatty acid analysis (PLFA) or soil en- zyme analyzes
  • Very good statistical skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written Englisch

The position is available from 15.11.2019 on a full -time (part-time full-time) basis. For the time being, it is limited to 1 year. If the applicant meets the relevant wage require- ments and personal qualifications, the salary is based on re- muneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
