The theme of the congress is Leisure and Quality of Life (QOL), broadly construed, and includes:

· Cross-cultural perspectives
· Indigenous perspectives
· Leisure-time physical activity and QOL
· Nature, outdoor recreation, and QOL
· Social justice and QOL
· Social and positive psychology perspectives
· Sports and QOL
· Programming and policy implications
· Tourism and QOL.

Individuals are encouraged to submit abstracts that address this theme, though all submissions will be given equal consideration.

Abstracts may be submitted as a Traditional Paper, Developmental Paper, Poster, Themed Session, or Alternative Format (see below for details or click on a link to go there directly). Whichever is chosen, all formats are considered of equal scholarly status. The program committee will coordinate the double-blind review and assessment of all submissions. It will also make final decisions regarding the program.
