The American Fisheries Society will host its 150th Annual Meeting in Columbus, Ohio, during August 30 – September 3, 2020. This meeting will celebrate the past, present, and future of fisheries research and management, bringing together a diverse group of academics, researchers, private industry professionals, management agency personnel, and students.
The Program Committee for this meeting invites proposals for symposia. A symposium is a set of presentations organized around a particular theme. Presenters in a symposium can be solely invited, completely chosen from submissions to the AFS general call for abstracts, or a combination of both. The call for general abstracts will come in February 2020.
Symposium organizers will be responsible for recruiting contributions, reviewing abstracts submitted to their symposium, reviewing the general pool of abstracts for presentations that fit their symposium theme, and organizing and moderating presentations in their symposium.
