The Department of Communication, Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen (UCPH), Denmark, invites applications for one PhD scholarship. The scholarship is fully funded for 3 years and will be filled on 1 January 2021 or as soon as possible after that.

Job content

The 3-year position is funded by the DFF Project grant "The Functional Role of Perception of Movements". The PhD student will be employed to work on the subproject ”The function of sense of agency” and supervised by Associate Professor Thor Grünbaum. The aim of the subproject is to analyse and rationally support assumptions concerning the function of conscious access to motor signals and their role in motor learning in the light of recent philosophy of consciousness and skills. The successful applicant will have formulated a PhD project that fits the general project description of the grant and the current research of Thor Grünbaum.

The student will be expected to actively participate in regular research group meetings and other research actvities in CoInAct and the Section of Philosophy.
