The Unheard Voices. The Reformation in Eastern Europe
Abstr. due: 01.09.2014
Dates: 12.11.14 — 14.11.14
Organizing comittee e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Organizers: The Faculty of Theology within Emanuel University of Oradea, in collaboration with Emanuel University Press and the “Ethics and Society” Research Centre organizes the Annual International Conference, which this year focuses on the Reformation in Eastern Europe.
Conference fees and accomodation: 60 euros (organizational expenses, conference materials, publishing expenses and various logistics)
The purpose of the conference is to present the latest research on people, places and events that are neither well known to the general public, nor featured or debated in the mainstream books or conferences on the Reformation, but which had a local impact on the emergence and development of the Reformation in Eastern Europe, in the fields of religion, politics, social life, culture, and economics.
The conference aims to give a voice, at least to some of the people and events that shaped Eastern Europe throughout the Reformation, and who influenced the ideological development of Europe since that time up to the present day. The main question is: who are the people and which are the events that mattered, but no one knows about?
