As part of Rasmussen Colleges 110th anniversary, we are offering 110
scholarships to new students. The scholarship value varies depending
on the degree level selected by the potential student. A Bachelors
degree seeking student is eligible for up to $10,000 and an Associates
degree seeking student is eligible for up to $5,000.

Scholarship Rules:

In order to apply for the scholarship, new prospective students must
submit an online application on www.Rasmussen.edu/110years between
February 4, 2010 and December 31, 2010.
The online application should
outline the applicants story including why they want the scholarship
and how they will use the education they receive at Rasmussen College
to further their lives. Content of the online application should
demonstrate the desire and need for the scholarship and should be
appropriate for all ages. Each applicant understands that his or her
application information could be made public by Rasmussen College.
Only one entry per applicant is permitted. Any subsequent entries will
be discarded.

A scholarship selection committee will then review the submissions and
choose the recipients. The winner will be notified no more than four
weeks after the application deadline. If a student has already
started, the Campus/Financial Aid will determine whether to apply the
first quarter portion of the scholarship immediately in the current
quarter or whether to commence payment the following quarter. In
either case, the full amount of the scholarship will be granted prior
to the students graduation. Employees of Rasmussen College and their
families are not eligible for the scholarship.


Applicant should demonstrate a desire to improve his or her career
future with education.

Applicant should display a need for financial support and a passionate
aspiration to better his or her life through academic achievement.

The scholarship is available to new prospective students only.

Employees of Rasmussen, Inc. and their family members are not eligible
to participate.

Scholarship Conditions:

The decision of the panel is final. The scholarship winners will be
notified by a letter. The scholarship award is non-transferable, and
no substitution or cash equivalent is allowed. Any scholarship awarded
to a student that does not start will not be re-awarded.

Rasmussen College is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate
capture of entry information, including but not limited to
malfunctions, human error, lost/delayed data transmission, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, or failures of telephone or computer
lines or networks, computer equipment, software, or any combination

Rasmussen College and its agents assume no responsibility for damages,
losses, or injury resulting from acceptance or use of the scholarship
award. Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of the
winner. The award winner must sign an affidavit of eligibility, a
waiver of liability, and a publicity release within 14 days of the
scholarship award date.

Scholarship recipients must start classes April 5, 2010, July 6, 2010,
October 4, 2010 or January 3, 2011.
This scholarship is offered by
Rasmussen College, and is open to applicants legally eligible. This
offer is void wherever prohibited by law and is subject to all
applicable federal, state, and local laws. Must be 18 years or older
as of selected class start date.

This scholarship is limited to a maximum amount of $10,000 applied at
a rate of $500 per quarter for the first 8 quarters and $750 per
quarter for the last 8 quarters for a maximum of 16 quarters for a
Bachelors degree and $500 per quarter for the first 4 quarters and
$750 per quarter for the last 4 quarters for a maximum of 8 quarters
for an Associates degree. If the scholarship recipient transfers in
credits from a previous college and has less than 16 quarters for a
Bachelors degree and 8 quarters for an Associates degree remaining,
the scholarship will terminate at the completion of the students
program. Additionally, if the student enrolls in a program requiring
less than 8 quarters of study, the scholarship will terminate at the
completion of the program.

Student must meet all general college and program specific
requirements, along with all applicable continuing academic,
programmatic, and credit load requirements. See your local Rasmussen

Applicant must maintain a 2.5 grade point average at Rasmussen College
to receive the scholarship each quarter.

The student must be enrolled in at least 9 credits every quarter in
order to maintain the scholarship, unless programmatic requirements
specify a lesser credit load during the last two quarters of

The student must maintain consistent and uninterrupted enrollment of 9
credit hours per quarter.

The winner must also consent to public appearances regarding the scholarship.
