Space science is the study of everything in outer space that covers the issues related to space travel and space exploration, space archaeology, and science performed in outer space. Astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, and the aerospace industry share many technologies that include telescope instrumentation, imaging and processing techniques for images. A defense satellite is basically telescopes that is pointed towards earth and thus use very identical technology and hardware to that of astronomy and astrophysics. The methods used to differentiate between rocket plumes and cosmic objects in stellar atmosphere models are similar as well. The International Conference on Aerospace Technology and Astrophysics (ICATA) 2016 provides two tenets of the parallel session:

Aerospace Technology

The first track will provide an open technical forum for aerospace systems professionals, especially engineers working in avionics, environmental, human factors, power systems, propulsion, safety, systems, space systems, unmanned systems, to gather valuable technical knowledge, insight, and information on emerging and applied technologies with respect to commercial, military, space, and unmanned aviation. Technical sessions, lively panel discussions, and keynote presentations will be highlights of this premier event that is essential for engineers, scientists, designers, program managers, as well as government and research personnel.


The second track will cover the topics of mass loss mechanisms in evolved stars, chemistry of circumstellar envelopes, dynamical evolution of planetary nebulae, morphology and shaping of planetary nebulae, synthesis of complex molecules and carbonaceous solids in the late stages of stellar evolution, and the stellar-solar system connection. Some areas of study for astrophysicists include their attempts to determine: the properties of dark matter, dark energy, and black holes; whether or not time travel is possible, wormholes can form, or the multiverse exists; and the origin and ultimate fate of the universe. Physicists, chemists, astronomers and planetary scientists are welcomed to participate in this interdisciplinary discussion forum.

This event provides an invaluable opportunity for attendees to renew and develop important business relationships within the international aerospace industry.
