Polymer-Based Micro- and Nanoelectronic Devices

The fabrication of micro- and nanodevices based on polymers has been growing field of research due to their low cost, simplicity of manufacture, and potential industrial applications. This field has been advanced by introducing conducting and semiconducting polymers that lead to growing research activities in the field of electronic devices. Deep understanding of the synthesis conditions as well as the physical and chemical characteristics of organic polymers will promote further the progress in the field of polymeric devices.
We invite researchers to contribute their research articles, which are original, to promote the research activities that aim to develop novel polymeric micro- and nanodevices. The contribution might include both theoretical and experimental results that cover aspects of polymeric devices such as device fabrication, device characterization, and device implementation. Reports on novel devices based on polymers, new production techniques, and device reliability are welcome.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Printable devices: these include printing technology, printing materials and substrates, different devices, and applications
Memory devices: these include device design, fabrication, characterization, and implementation
Gas and chemical sensors: these include the different types of sensors, sensor fabrication and characterization, and implementation
OLED: this includes material synthesis, device architectures, fabrication and characterization, manufacturing, and implementation
Other devices and applications: these include all the other micro- and nanoorganic devices and their applications
