(Romania), is pleased to invite you to participate in the International Conference “Scientific Convergence and Interdisciplinarity in EU Environmental Research” (SCIENVIR).
The aim of the SCIENVIR International Conference is to provide a platform for interaction and development of research on EU Environmental Protection and Policy issues. The purpose of the conference is to foster the exchange of ideas and networking among academics, researchers and practitioners interested in the field, in order to nurture the growth of a trans-national and interdisciplinary community.
We are inviting you to submit, until April 1st, an extended abstract of minimum 2.000 words or a full paper referring to theoretical and/or applied original research on issues of interest in the field of EU Environmental Protection and Policy, related to the following mainstream topics:
- Environmental pollution: types, causes and solutions;
- Environmental economics: theoretical approaches to environmental management;
- Climate change: determining factors and mitigation;
- Energy and the environment;
- Sustainable development: cutting-edge perspectives and approaches;
- Environment and the economy: sectorial viewpoints.
Participants also have the opportunity to acquire specialized knowledge with respect to innovative and validated research methodologies in the field of EU Environmental Protection and Policy through the METER Seminar (Methodologies in Environmentally Focused Socioeconomic Research).
