A postdoctoral fellow position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Bin Wang in the Department of Genetics at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center at Houston. Maintenance of genomic integrity is one of the fundamental biological mechanisms for cells to counteract deleterious and potentially mutagenic effects of various DNA damaging assaults. This project is to utilize mouse models to investigate how genome instability contributes to tumor development. Highly motivated candidates with a recent Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. are encouraged to apply. Candidates with prior experience in mouse genetics, DNA damage repair and signaling, or immunology is helpful. The qualified candidates are expected to be capable of independent thinking, with good written and oral communication skills.
