Electrochem 2020 is part of the long-running Electrochem conference series and will take place at the University Park Campus of The University of Nottingham from 6-8 September 2020.  Conveniently located only two miles from Nottingham city centre, the campus is served by efficient and affordable public transport links, with regular tram and bus links to Nottingham City Centre.
The conference will provide a platform for sharing and discussing new insights into electrochemical science, and will be divided into three broad themes: (1) Electrochemistry for a Sustainable Future, (2) Electrochemical Materials and Interfaces, and (3) Fundamentals and Bioelectrochemistry.

Theme 1: Electrochemistry for a Sustainable Future

This theme will focus on the latest developments in areas such as electrochemical energy storage, sustainable electrochemical processing, and the use of electrochemistry for clean electrochemical synthesis

Organising Team: Dr. Kevin Lam, University of Greenwich, Prof. Dan Brett, University College London, Prof. Robert Weatherup, University of Oxford

Theme 2: Fundamentals and Bioelectrochemistry

This theme will focus on the latest research on fundamental physical, analytical and biological electrochemistry, including electrochemical sensing, studies of fundamental electrochemical processes, and bioelectrocatalysis.

Organising Team: Dr. Katherine Holt, University College London, Dr. Frankie Rawson, University of Nottingham, Dr. Alison Parkin, University of York.

Theme 3: Electrochemical Methods, Materials and Interfaces

This theme will focus on the latest developments in electrochemical materials and interfacial electrochemistry, including the development of new electrochemical methodology, the development of new electrocatalysts and electrode materials, and novel studies of the electrode/electrolyte interface.

Organising Team: Dr. Yvonne Grunder, University of Liverpool, Dr. Nuria Garcia-Araez, University of Southampton
