2019 6th International Conference on Chemical and Food Engineering (ICCFE 2019) will be held in Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan during April 13-15, 2019. ICCFE 2019, is to bring together innovative academics and industrial experts in the field of Chemical and Food Engineering to a common forum.

Chemical engineering is a branch of engineering that applies physical sciences (physics and chemistry), life sciences (microbiology and biochemistry), together with applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, transport, and properly use chemicals, materials and energy. A chemical engineer designs large-scale processes that convert chemicals, raw materials, living cells, microorganisms and energy into useful forms and products.

Food engineering is a multidisciplinary field which combines microbiology, applied physical sciences, chemistry and engineering for food and related industries. Food engineering includes, but is not limited to, the application of agricultural engineering, mechanical engineering and chemical engineering principles to food materials. Food engineers provide the technological knowledge transfer essential to the cost-effective production and commercialization of food products and services. Physics, chemistry, and mathematics are fundamental to understanding and engineering products and operations in the food industry.

The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Chemical and Food Engineering. Another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working in Japan and abroad. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Chemical and Food Engineering and related areas.
